FAQ #1: What is the difference between our Bucket Hats and Floppy Hats?
Bucket Hat: as the name suggested a bucket hat (sometimes referred to as a ‘fisherman’s hat) has the shape of a bucket. It features a flat crown on top and a downwards-slopping brim. Brim width is 8.5cm-9cm.
This style suits both male and female.
Floppy Hat: It has a more feminine shape with a wider brim up to 10cm. The crown is made up of multiple ‘panels’ making it rounder and follow the shape of your head.
Interesting Facts:
- Both our Bucket Hats and Floppy Hats are sunsmart with the brim width 1-2 cm wider than the minimum brim width suggested by Cancer Council.
- Despite the name, our floppy hats are NOT FLOPPY at all thanks to the clever insert to help the brim stay upright.
- They are both lightweight, FULLY REVERSIBLE, washable and come with a DETACHABLE chin strap.
